We are an all-inclusive, all girl, ASA softball affiliate.  We believe in helping girls learn the fundamentals of softball while they enjoy playing this great team sport with their friends.  We are an all-volunteer league and rely on the support of parent participation and league sponsorships.  You do not have to be a resident of the city of Santa Monica to play with our league.
 
We currently have five divisions (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U) that play in our Spring recreation league.  Registration for the Spring season opens in the preceding Fall and typically stays open through January.  Divisions may be restricted to wait-list registrations when filled.  The season begins in February and closes in May with our annual Spring tournament.
 
We have four divisions (8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U) that play in a Fall inter-league with other LASB teams.   We also field teams in 10U, 12U, and 14U in the Burbank league.  Placement in LASB or Burbank is entirely at the discretion of Santa Monica Girls Fastpitch.  Registration for Fall ball usually opens in June and continues until full.   Play begins in August and runs into November.
 
 The division for which your daughter is eligible is based on her age as of December 31, 2014.
